FAQ
Who do you work with?
Any individual or business looking for photo or video services.
What type of services do you offer?
Video, Photography, and Editing services. Please refer to my Rates and Packages page.
When do you take bookings?
I take bookings anytime upon availability.
How do I prepare for our shoot?
If we are doing a portrait shoot, we will discuss locations and outfits prior. It is up to you to choose your outfits. I can provide guidance but ultimately you choose how you want to present yourself. For video or non-portrait shoots preparation will depend on the project type and will be discussed prior.
If I am interested in working with you, how do I move forward and what does the process look like?
-
Submit an inquiry form and I will respond within 24 to 48 hrs.
-
I will set up a consultation with you to discuss pricing, how I can serve you, and getting you booked in my calendar.
-
You will receive a quote whether it’s a portrait package or hourly rate within 24 hours of our consultation.
-
Upon quote confirmation I will send an invoice with information on the deposit. In addition, you will receive a written working agreement that you will sign.
-
Submit the deposit and working agreement by deadline (generally 48-72 hours before scheduled shoot).
-
Submit remaining payment balance once shoot is complete.
-
Depending on project scale edited photos or video will be sent within 2 to 3 weeks of shoot.
What is the location for your portrait shoots?
Most shoots are done outside with natural light. Studio shoots are an option for clients who want neutral backdrops. A portable studio can be set up at the client's home, which may result in an additional fee. We will discuss a location that fits the mood and tone you as the client want to convey.
What is your payment policy?
I ask that you submit a deposit that is generally is 50% of the quoted rate for portrait shoots. For flat hourly rates the deposit will be discussed in the consultation. Note the deposit must be submitted with written agreement before our shoot date.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
I ask that you cancel and reschedule at latest 48 hours before our booking. The more notice the better. If you cancel after the 48 hour time has passed or do not show up for our booking, I will hold on to the deposit and our agreement will be terminated. I will allow one opportunity to reschedule if amble notice is given.
What is your weather policy?
Shoots happen regardless of the weather. This includes light wind, foggy, cloudy weather, and cold weather. Cancellations only occur if there is torrential rain or high winds on shoot day.
How do I pay?
I ask that you pay the deposit before we meet. Venmo and Zelle is my preferred payment method. My venmo handle is @julienrmotola. My Zelle can be found via my phone number (720) 301-9017. If you don’t have Venmo or Zelle I can take payment via cash or check.
